About The Syrian Thalassemia Association
Our Organization
It Is a Non Profit association take place in Damascus and aspire to cover all of Syria. We have a young board and it was Established In 2025. The Number of founding members of the association are eleven. We hope to bring treatment to all in need including all patients and their families on board.
We welcome all those who would like to support us whether you are part of the community or are looking to support patients.
In this first step we aim to give aid to 100 thalassemia patients, In the future we hope to expand the number with grown capabilities to cover and support all patients within our country.
Our Mission
Our mission is to upgrade the method of treating thalassemia within proper medical centers in Syria and to learn and follow the up to date protocol of managing thalassemia, work with leading international associates in the same field
Spread awareness about thalassemia among our communities and teach people on how to prevent it
Limit the Spread of inherited diseases by all means possible
Give all support possible to the patients and their families this includes social, psychological, moral and financial support.
